It holds a total number of 953 jharokhas in the entire complex. It was actually built in 1799, for the royal women to peep out of the windows and enjoy the processions and street events. The next attraction in Jaipur is the Amber Fort. The most interesting thing about the fort is its elephant ride. Well, kids definitely are in for a treat. The fort is situated uphill and to avoid this hurdle, the elephants come to your rescue. Once you reach the fort, you will be stunned by the intricate work of architecture that it displays.
Just before sunset, the best place to be at is the Jantar Mantar. The Jantar Mantar is the largest observatory in all of India and was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. To understand the reason why Jantar Mantar was constructed, you must sit down for the light show, which talks about Jaipur and Jantar Mantar. The vivid colours and creative narration will really make you appreciate the beauty of this place. End your day, by heading back to your hotel followed by dinner and a good night’s sleep.
